The North Dakota Big Game Records Books, 8th Edition, is now available.
Authored by Patricia Stockdill, the book features stories by hunters whose animals grace some of the pages of the book. It includes an array of photos, informational articles, and listings of certified Boone and Crockett volunteer scorers.
The book's highlight features rankings and measurements of some of the state’s largest white-tailed deer, mule deer, and elk – typical and non-typical – bighorn sheep, moose, and pronghorn taken in North Dakota. Entries are scored using qualified Boone and Crockett Club scoring standards. Qualifying mountain lions are also now included in the 8th Edition, the first the big cats have been in the Records Book.
The 56-page booklet retails for $15 and is available from Scheels stores in Fargo, Grand Forks and Bismarck, Mandan Sporting Goods, and Scenic Sports in Williston.
Copies can also be ordered directly from Stockdill by emailing, firstname.lastname@example.org with a $3 shipping and handling charge to cover postage.
